    Thanks for following the game with us! We have 3 more games of the men's hockey tournament left today and the other semifinal of the women's tournament's round for the 5th to 8th spot between Russia and Japan. (11:15:15)
     
    The German team kept the game open till the very last second but couldn't force the equalizer and thus overtime anymore! In the end the close 2-1 win for Finland is a bit lucky but not undeserved!

    The Fins now will play for the 5th spot against the winner of the game Russia vs Japan while the Germans play for the 7th spot against the losers of this match. A very crucial game for Germany as the 8th placed will have to play a relegation against the winners of the IIHF Division I World Championship.
