Monday 10.03.2014, 19:30KHL

Tied 2-2 headed into the third period, Lev got an unexpected go-ahead goal from David Ullstrom midway through the third, then added two late goals to win 5-2. Of the first three games, 2 have been tied after 2 and Medvescak led the other, but Lev have now outscored Medvescak 9-1 in the third period this series and won all 3 games.

With a 3-0 series lead, Lev have this series firmly in their grasp, but Medvescak surely would at least like to get a playoff win in front of their home fans tomorrow. (21:57:57)

    60:00
    Game over.

    59:02

    Unassisted, power-play goal.

    58:54
Mark Katic is getting the penalty for interference for a hit on Martin Thornberg in the corner with the puck away. He's furious with the call but that's got to be frustration at that point, which is understandable. Medvescak in a real tight spot now.

    56:32
    Goal for Lev!
Lev hadn't got much going on the power play, but near the end sent a shot from the point and it's deflected by MARTIN THORNBERG in front and in. It's not a power-play goal, as the penalty had ended 2 seconds earlier.
    Assists: Mikko Maenpaa, Nathan Oystrick.

    55:45
Sekac fires a wrister just wide.

    54:30
Ryan Vesce hooks the arm of Marc-Andre Gragnani in the corner and gets the hooking penalty. He knows it too and is disgusted with himself, even tried in vain to take a Lev player with him by starting something after the whistle. Inopportune time for a Medvescak penalty.

    54:09
The puck slides down to Brust, who covers for a faceoff in the Medvescak zone.

    53:20
Lev back at full strength, play in their zone.

    52:30
Jessiman tries to go high near side, Vehanen gets an arm on it.

    52:10
Puck worked for a one-timer in the slot, just wide of the post.

    51:39
Now the Lev net is dislodged with 1:04 left in the penalty, faceoff inside..

    51:15
Medvescak get a shot on Vehanen, who covers with 1:28 left in the penalty.

    50:42
A collision at the blueline, Nathan Oystrick takes a stick in the face and yet is the one getting the gate for interference. Medvescak is going to the power play trailing by 1 in a must-win game.

    50:04
Lev back into the zone and Brust makes the save and covers.

    49:37
    Goal for Lev!
On a relatively harmless-looking rush, DAVID ULLSTROM crossed the Medvescak blueline 1-on-4 and ripped a high wrister that hit Brust's arm and went inside the post. It looks like he might have been screened on it.

    47:34
Slapper from Michal Repik, butterfly save Brust.

    46:01
Maenpaa right off the draw, misses and hits the glass.

    45:57
    Icing Medvescak.

    45:45
Maenpaa tries to cut through the middle but his wrister is high and wide.
