There's the final buzzer, and Lokomotiv Yaroslavl have thrashed Dynamo Moscow 5-1 on the night and claimed the series 4-3 to knock out the reigning champions! Dynamo had won the past two Gagarin Cups but the fairytale has now come to an end. Their opponents looked more up for it from the start and quickfire goals from Alexander Chernikov and Geoff Platt put them in the driving seat, before Leonid Komarov got Dynamo back into it. Lokomotiv killed their opponents off however in the third period with three unanswered goals from Sergey Konkov with a double and Yegor Averin. Lokomotiv will now face SKA Saint Petersburg in the second round. Thanks for following the game with us, and see you again soon for more breathtaking KHL playoff action! (19:02:29)
