		There's the final buzzer, and Lokomotiv Yaroslavl have thrashed Dynamo Moscow 5-1 on the night and claimed the series 4-3 to knock out the reigning champions! Dynamo had won the past two Gagarin Cups but the fairytale has now come to an end. Their opponents looked more up for it from the start and quickfire goals from Alexander Chernikov and Geoff Platt put them in the driving seat, before Leonid Komarov got Dynamo back into it. Lokomotiv killed their opponents off however in the third period with three unanswered goals from Sergey Konkov with a double and Yegor Averin. 	37:33	Tempers are really raising here and Maxim Pestushko for slashing his opponent in the face has been called, and for fighting in the aftermath Yury Babenko and Geoff Platt have also been punished. Nevertheless it's a powerplay opportunity for Lokomotiv to take back the initiative

	25:16	Platt! Dynamo cough up the puck, Platt can't find anyone on the crease but the puck falls right back to him and Eremenko panicking sends it away!
	24:22	Pestushko! Maxim Pestushko when unmarked at the top of the crease forces Sanford into a solid save blocker side!
	23:17	Maxim Solovyov takes aim from the point but can't find the target! Dynamo are finally starting to get their game together

		Despite Lokomotiv's poor form in the regular championship, I fully expected this series to go right down to the wire and that's exactly how it has turned out. Dynamo won the first two games in the series 3-2 and 2-1 before their opponents hit back with victories also by the scores 2-1 and 3-2. The Moscow giants then went ahead again in the series by winning at home 1-0, but Lokomotiv answered with a thumping 6-0 win in Yaroslavl to bring us to game 7. Incidentally each team has won all of their home games in this series so far, and because of that Dynamo do start as slight favourites today.
		Dynamo have won the past two Gagarin Cup's as they start to really dominate the KHL, and they finished atop of the regular championship table with a massive 115 points. Lokomotiv had a rather up and down regular season and they only just squeaked into the playoffs in 8th place of the Western Conference with 84 points.
		Game 7's are always something to behold, and this one is going to be no different. Both Dynamo and Lokomotiv would expect to make it past at least the first few rounds, and it seems almost unfair that one of them will get knocked out today.
