The game is over, the French have most probably qualified for the quarters! A third-period rally wins them the game with a score 6-2, a real drubbing delivered to Denmark. Stephane da Costa picked up a lot of points, while the Danes couldn't get their stuff together as the end was approaching.

Icing from Nicolas Besch – the draw will take place deep before Huet.

    56:57
The game is calming down a bit, I guess the Danes realized they've been defeated.

    55:40
Cristobal Huet makes an easy glove save in the bottom left as the shot comes off the right boards.

The umpire went to the box to check upstairs whether it was regular and they agreed – the goal is acknowledged. France up 6-2!

    55:09
    Goal for Team France!
I doubt there is anyone believing this! STEPHANE DA COSTA adds another one after a sloppy play in the defense that almost saw the Danes score an own goal, but then da Costa founds space in the slot to slide it in below Nielsen.

    Unassisted.

    53:45
Another chance for the French as Fleury tries to feed from the left side of the slot onto the right – the puck is a bit too quick and nothing comes out of it. The net comes loose afterwards.

    52:51
    Goal for Team France!
This is looking bad for Denmark! The French might just be going to the quarter-finals! After a sloppy play in the scramble on the left sideboards in the neutral zone, the French took the puck down the ice on the same side, in the slot there was ANTONIN MANAVIAN onskating all alone, and didn't have much trouble beating Nielsen.

Assists: Antoine Roussel, Stephane da Costa.

    Alan Ilijic
