They didn't put the puck into the net but the puck was in front of the Canadian bench and Brett Leggat reached over and interfered with JUHO JOKI-ERKKILA as he was carrying the puck, so with the Canadian net empty a goal was awarded.
KIM STROMBERG held the puck forever at the top of the circle and then fired a slapper inside the far post for another power-play goal.

Virtala was at the point passed down low to KARI LOHTANDER and his one-timer beat Leggat on the near side to make it a 2-goal game on the power play.

And the Finns regain the lead just 38 seconds later. PETRI PARTANEN scores his 2nd of the game with a wrister from the high slot that beats Leggat on the stick side.

The Canadians went quickly back up the ice and CHRIS RAUCKMAN fired an absolute rocket off the post and in to tie the score.

TOMI PENTTINEN carried the puck into the Canadian zone, circled the net, and fired a low wrister that beat Leggat to make it 2-0.
