With that dramatic overtime goal Sibir have claimed a hard fought 3:2 win over the Siberian rivals Metallurg Novokuznetsk! After going ahead through Dmitriy Kugryshev's goal early on Sibir then conceded two quick fire goals from Ansel Galimov and Alexander Romanov, and it took until the final three minutes for Maxim Ignatovich to tie the game up. Sibir's Dmitriy Kugryshev then grabbed his second of the day, as he tapped home to give the visitors two points for the win, and leave Metallurg with one. Thanks for following the game with us, and join me again tomorrow for more highly exciting KHL action! (16:41:35)

    Game over.

    Goal for Sibir!
Wow, just look at how the away fans are celebrating! Sibir have very promptly finished the game, Metallurg were just so deflated after conceding late! The hosts poorly cough up the puck to Alexey Kopeikin who by the left faceoff circle splays it across to the slot, where DMITRIY KUGRYSHEV expertly flicks it past the goalkeeper! It's 3:2! Assists- Alexey Kopeikin

Sibir get about setting themselves up in their opponents' zone, Jarno Koskiranta wrists in from distance but Metallurg's outstanding performer Ilya Sorokin clutches

    Goal for Sibir!
We have late drama here, as Sibir finally have their equaliser that you have to say they deserve! MAXIM IGNATOVICH swings around from the left flank to the center, fires in and through traffic it sneaks into the right hand corner! It's a tied game at 2:2!

    56:18
The numbers have been promptly evened up here though, as Metallurg's Vitaly Zotov has been penalised for hitting with the stick

    56:08
This really isn't the time for Sibir to start collecting needless penalties but that's exactly what they've done here, Sergey Shumakov for checking to the head is the guilty party

    55:04
Metallurg looked very solid on that penalty kill, not giving Sibir any openings whatsoever, and it's a five on five game again

    54:21
Dmitriy Monya winds up for a pacy effort just past the blue line, it really is arrowed but home defenders manage to deflect it up and out of play before it can get to Ilya Sorokin!

    53:04
Metallurg have given away a potentially very important powerplay here now though, as Vladimir Malinovskiy has been penalised for slashing!

    52:18
Icing is now committed by Sibir. Metallurg have calmed down after not having any of the puck earlier in the period, and their opponents just look to be tiring slightly

    50:58
Sibir are now back at full strength, but with the final ten minutes already upon us time is starting to run against them now!

    50:00
Koskiranta! Shorthanded off a faceoff draw on the left Jarno Koskiranta takes on a testing wrist shot, is gets deflected up into the air but on the rebound Ilya Sorokin makes a fantastic right pad save to keep his team ahead!
