That´s it for now. My name is Lukas Peroutka, have a good night! (22:30:32)
Meanwhile, SønderjyskE´s dramatic victory in Krefeld still resonates.
Lakers hold on to their lead and move to the joint top position in Group G with Sparta Prague on 9 points. KalPa remains third with 7 points.
Frölunda score two late goals in final minutes of the game through Oscar Fantenberg and Andreas Johnsson (again, for 4th time tonight). Bit harsh on Briancon.
Indians are tied on top of Group C on 12 points with Servette. By the way, this is Johnsson´s 7th goal and 16th point. Incredible efficiency by the young Swede.
IFK´s misery is completed when Anton Lindholm´s pass is diverted into his own net by Teemu Ramstedt. Skellefteå remains perfect in CHL, winning also their fifth game and sealing victory in Group J.
Increasing pressure by the home team eventually leads to a fourth goal and a hat-trick by Andreas Johnsson. The young forward takes advantage of another great pass by Mathis Olimb and buries his shot under the crossbar. Briancon finds a quick reply through Marc-Andre Bernier, though, and keeps a respectable scoreline with six minutes to go.
KalPa finally gets on the scoresheet after Tomas Kubalik rifles a shot into the net. Nine minutes left in Sweden. Group G is fairly even so any point might be important.
Does that count as a surprise? Yes, it does. But SønderjyskE has already proven they are a strong and resilient team and now they get their first ever CHL win. The Danish club scored three goals in the last period and beats Krefeld who remain pointless at the bottom of Group J.
Wow, what a comeback! SønderjyskE turn the game at Krefeld on its head and now find themselves in the lead! Tyler Gotto scores the equalizer on a powerplay and with five minutes left to play, Kim Lykkeskov gives his team an unexpected lead with a rebound.
There is not much at stake in terms of playoffs here at Krefeld, but both sides battle for their first CHL win. Norman Hauner´s powerplay effort put Penguins into a two-goal lead, but a quick response by Mats Lund means Vojens are back in touch.
Looks like the Swedish champion is determined to maintain a 100% record even after tonight. Daniel Widing´s second of the game 94 seconds before second intermission puts Skellefteå in a good position ahead of the last period.
Midway through the game, Ian McDonald was tripped on a breakaway and converted the resulting penalty shot, cutting Frölunda´s lead in half. But late in the second period, the Swedish scoring power is again apparent as Andreas Johnsson converts a powerplay for a 3-1 goal.
Daniel Widing fires a one-timer into the net and Skellefteå have the lead in the clash of top teams of Group J. A home victory would seal the top place for the Swedish powerhouse. Still 30 minutes to play there, though.
Lakers increase their lead on a powerplay thanks to Nick Johnson´s rebound. A victory for the Swedish outfit would lift them to joint first place in Group G.
