So that's all for tonight – an evening that saw Karpat Oulu and Sparta Prague confirm their places in the next round, and Valerenga Oslo get their first CHL points on the board.

Next up, the draw for round two on Friday.

    Goodnight! (22:47:58)

    Farjestad Karlstad wins in SO

A 3-2 shoot-out win, after six rounds each, sees Karlstad take the extra point

    OT doesn't solve it

No goals in Oslo durng the extra five minutes, so we're going to a shootout

    60 minutes are up

    Sparta Prague 6-3 Adler Mannheim
    Valerenga Oslo 1-1 Farjestad Karlstad

Sparta become the first and only Czech side to make round two. Oslo get their first CHL points on the board.

    Goal!

It's 6-3 to Sparta with another ENG... Tomas Rolinek the scorer, and that is how this game will end.

SPARTA ADVANCES TO THE NEXT ROUND, whilst Vaxjo sadly go out.

    Goal!

At 58:21, Jan Buchtele makes it 5-3 to Sparta – that should secure their place in the next round as group winners.

    Goal!

With 57:25 on the board, Mannheim pull one back. 4-3 Sparta!

    Sparta Prague 4-2 Adler Mannheim

2448 fans in Prague, vast majority of which will be hoping their side can see out the next five minutes.

Vaxjo hopes rest on the Adler

It's a horrible situation to be in, but the hopes of the Lakers now rest entirely on Mannheim finding two goals in the next eight or so minutes.

    Goal!

Sparta Prague move 4-2 ahead of Adler Mannheim with a goal from Kumstat.

    Final 20 minutes underway

Back on the ice in Prague

    End of second periods

    Sparta Prague 3-2 Adler Mannheim
    Valerenga Oslo 1-1 Farjestad Karlstad

    What does it all mean?
Sparta Prague will qualify for the next round if things stay as they are. Vaxjo need a big favour from Mannheim to stay in the competition...

    Big Goal?!

Sparta go 3-2 up, Lukas Klimek scoring the third with 42s left on the period

    As things stand

Vaxjo would win Group G, whilst Briançon Diables Rouges would be the only team to end the group phrase with 0 points.

    Goal!

Valerenga Oslo go 1-0 up against Karlstad thanks to CRAMO Top Scorer Alexander Bonsaksen

Back in Prague, Sparta make it 2-2 through Miroslav Forman

    Goal!

Back out for period two and it's disaster for Sparta Prague... Jamie Tardif score just 20s into the middle session to put the Adler 2-1 up.

    End of first periods

    Sparta Prague 1-1 Adler Mannheim
    Valerenga Oslo 0-0 Farjestad Karlstad

    What does it all mean?
Sparta need another goal, at least, to win the match and their group... otherwise, it's Vaxjo who go through in top spot.

    Goal!

Glen Metropolit ties the game for Mannheim... it's 1-1 in Prague

    Luke Fisher
