There is the final buzzer, and Lukko Rauma have taken a giant step to the next round with a heavy 5-1 victory over TPS in Turku! They sat back fending off a lot of pressure, but they expertly picked their opponents off on the counterattack. Ilkka Mikkola, Aaron Gagnon, Henrik Forsberg, Jonne Virtanen and Ville Vahalathi all got on the scoreboard, whereas Tero Koskiranta replied for TPS. Thanks for following the game with us, and see you again soon for more thrilling Champions Hockey League action!

    60:00
    Game over.

    59:51
We're already into the final few seconds here, and Lukko Rauma are flying to a thumping 5-1 win on the road in Turku with the second leg still to come!

    59:09
Lukko soaking up that pressure are again back to full strength with their goaltender Oskari Setanen really on his game today.

    58:02
Ryan Lasch darts his way past everyone to the slot, but before he can pull the trigger he's pushed out into the boards!

    57:09
They have been gifted some sort of lifeline though, as for interference Jerry Ahtola of the visitors has been sent to the penalty box.

    56:22
You really do have to doubt if TPS have any chance in this tie overall at all now! Such a deficit is very hard to claw back away from home, especially when playing against a very organised side that Lukko Rauma are.

    54:07
    Goal for Lukko!
Lukko Rauma are completely running away with it now! With the puck bouncing everywhere around the crease it falls at the stick of VILLE VAHALAHTI at a very awkward angle on the right, but with Teemu Lassila out of position be brilliantly hits the net! Assistsed by: Aaron Gagnon and Juho Tommila. Powerplay goal. 1-5

    53:24
One of Lukko's players goes crashing into the net, and we're going to have short stoppage here as the goal is going to having to be put back in place! And a penalty has indeed been called on that play, as Otto Karvinen has been punished for interference.

    52:23
Just as it has been for the majority of today's duel TPS are seeing just about all of the puck, but not able to create any sort of clear opportunities. Lukko are playing very cleverly, sitting back and soaking up the pressure with reasonable ease.

    49:38
TPS did a pretty good job of killing both those penalties though and they're back at full strength. They really have to speed things up if they want to have any hope going into next week's second leg!

    48:12
Juho Tommila screaming down on to the right faceoff circle takes a slap on it, and Teemu Lassila makes an extremely awkward looking save to bat it over the bar and out of play!

    47:38
And Lukko Rauma have now taken a timeout, they know that this is a perfect opportunity to completely finish the game, and maybe the tie!

    47:38
TPS are looking a bit sorry for themselevs now as now they're going to have to defend on a Lukko five on three! Otto Karvinen has let his team down with slashing!

    46:37
And we have a penalty here, and TPS have given two minutes up again as indeed Tadas Kumeliauskas has been called for cross checking.
