Hi and welcome to this second game of the playoff series between Linköping and Sparta. The first game Sparta fell on a narrow loss to Linköping by 2-1. Everything goes as both teams has a very good shot of moving forward to the quarterfinals.

In the first leg in Prague, Sparta outshoot Linköping 29:18, but they were unable to score until the 45th minute when they were already 2–0 down after the goals by Micflikier and Karlsson. Cingel cut the deficit to only one goal with his late strike.

Sparta Prague lost the last two games (In the CHL to Linköping and in the Czech Extraliga to Slavia Prague 1–0), but they find themselves in a good position in the domestic competition with 35 points from 18 games, which give them the third place in the league table. Before losing to Slavia, Sparta won five league games in a row. Sparta is the only Czech team left in the CHL.

Linköping HC can be satisfied with the result they got away from the home, which gives them a slight advantage before the 2nd leg. LHC are currently fifth in the Swedish SHL with 27 points from 18 games.
