With that overtime winner HC CSKA Moscow have indeed taken the second game of this series 3:2! Both teams deserved the win today, and it's a shame someone had to lose. Nikita Zaitsev and Roman Lyubimov with a double netted for the victors, with Evgeniy Dadonov and Vadim Shipachyov replying for SKA. Thanks for following the game with us, and see you again soon for more pulsating KHL action! (19:50:17)

    Game over.

    101:39
    Goal for CSKA!
There is that winning goal and it's for the hosts! Alexander Radulov spins around the net to the left, splays it back to the doorstep, and ROMAN LYUBIMOV is on hand to score! It's 3:2! Assists- Igor Grigorenko and Alexander Radulov

    101:08
Alexander Radulov has a bit of space for himself on the right flank, shoots quite early, and Mikko Koskinen is solid near post taking a claim of it

    100:53
CSKA have indeed managed to see out those 53 seconds, and have five players on the ice again

    100:01
The third period of overtime is now underway, and remember that SKA are on the powerplay for a further 00:53!

    100:01
    Start of third overtime.

    Statistics after the second overtime:

    Shots on target: 43-48

    Penalty minutes: 35-33

    100:00
    End of second overtime.

    99:59
Another overtime period will now be coming up, as still no one can find that third and winning goal!

    99:32
Artemiy Panarin drifts in from deep, puts on a show of speed, and from an awkward angle to the right wrists only into the goalkeeper's chest

    98:48
Another penalty has now been called and it's the second against CSKA, as Alexander Radulov has been called again this time for delaying the game

    97:17
Radulov! Alexander Radulov barges his way down the middle of SKA's back line, backhands when almost one on one, and Mikko Koskinen is solid by his near right post to field!

    96:11
Both sides are now back at full strength. No one wants to score the winner today, with both defences giving it everything as to not concede!

    94:11
And now for a pointless slashing call CSKA's Evgeniy Artyukhin has made SKA's task of killing this extended penalty a lot easier!

    94:07
SKA poorly cough up the puck, it's a two on one, and by the left post it's somehow tipped over with the goal gaping! That was a perfect opportunity for the hosts to take the spoils!

    90:10
Igor Makarov is done for CSKA out of what looked like nothing, and he is struggling to get to his feet! And indeed SKA have been penalised for that, and it's a huge penalty with Tony Martensson being chucked out of the game with a 5+20 punishment!

    89:42
Up skates Roman Cervenka, however he loses his balance at the vital moment and the puck crashes wide of the left post! And as CSKA come back to full strength we play on at 2:2!

    89:19
SKA have been gifted a penalty shot! The net was purposely pushed off its moorings when Roman Cervenka took aim blocker side, and the referees have indicated a penalty shot!

    88:39
Kuteikin! Closing dangerously onto the danger zone from deep Andrey Kuteikin winds up, and the goaltender kicks it out and away!

    Shaun Nicolaides
