Power play goal! Wrist shot from the blue line and Conz couldn't see a thing

On the first game between teams on 20th August a total of 17 different players made it to the official sheets in regulation time by scoring or assisting. While forwards on both sides got their jobs done, goalies earned their paychecks as well with Fribourg’s star Benjamin Conz blocking 36 shots on goal and Lukko’s Ryan Zapolski marking 25 saves on his record. The big question for Thurdsday’s thriller is who will take charge in the ring. Fribourg-Gotteron has a lot at stake and they will need a victory in three periods to keep their playoff dreams alive. It will be interesting to see what Zenhäusern in stock for his team to challenge Lukko’s solid defense.
