Good evening! CHL match TPS – Lørenskog will start in 30 minutes.

HC TPS has played two pre-season tournament strongly before the team starts CHL journey tonight at the home arena against Norwegian team Lørenskog IK. Home team’s head coach Ari-Pekka Selin tells that the team has clear plan for CHL this season – Their aim is the win the CHL.
“We are really hungry for success. We have trained last three weeks really well. We want play the active puck-control-game better and hopefully we are able to show that too. But firstly, we have to be ready to work on the ice and do things as a team. We want to play a good game and give everything on front of our great home audience.”, Selin said on the pre-game interview.

Selin thinks also that CHL will prove that quality of teams has risen throughout the Europe and that is the reason why CHL games are interesting and tight.

Opponent team Lørenskog IK played against Liberec on Sunday and they lost the tight match after overtime 4-3. Canadian forward Jason Krog will make his debut in his new team tonight.

TPS has started strongly. The game is played in their attacking zone. Elias Karvonen shoots a wrist shot and again Jakaitis is stronger and takes the puck.

TPS has been the dominant team the first five minutes. TPS has had few great scoring changes. Jakaitis must have already at least seven saves. Strong start for TPS.

And again one more save for Jakaitis. He's been solid.

Patrik Virta is near a breakaway, but the Lørenskog defence is able to stop him.

Taavitsainen takes the puck from opponent's defence and breakaways to the goal. He lifts the puck over the goal.

Game has gone few minutes without breaks. Teams are changing on the fly. TPS slightly keeps the dominance on the ice at the moment. Spina shoots and Jakaitis saves.
