		Esbjerg's late rally and eventually OT win over IFK Helsinki earlier this week means the stand on the brink of becoming the first Danish side to make it past the CHL group stage. A point will do it for the Energy, while IFK need the full three in a regulation win to get through.

		HIFK was stronger team throughout the period. It took a while to open the scoring but two more goals gives them good advantage for the remaining two periods.
		Two of the HIFK goals came from rebounds so that was clearly the weak point of the visitors, especially the work of their defensemen.

	28:06	With the game nearing the halfway mark it seems all over for Esbjerg. They have been weaker team whole game and don't really look like a team which can overcome this.

	28:34	Offensive zone penalty as Knight trips HIFK player who hits the boards as a result.
	29:00	A similar pattern tried between Partanen and Aaltonen which led to fifth goal, but this time the shot is deflected to the netting.

	32:10	Elkins passes to Grillfors who has found his way ahead of opposing net, but the puck gets a bad bounce and goes to the netting. Neutral zone faceoff after the power break.
	33:27	Another power play chance for HIFK with Fiddler to the box.
	34:30	Taimi goes to the net and is looking to feed his team-mate, intercepted by Krogsgaard.
	35:27	Visiting team at full strength. The power play has been one of rare weaknesses for HIFK today.
	36:15	Petrell's stick hits Esbjerg players and visitors get their first power play. Petrell apologizes opponent just afterwards.
