Storhamar Hamar was the runner up in both the Norwegian league and playoffs last season, loosing the championship to Stavanger Oilers in game 7 in the finals. #23 Christian Larrivèe will wear the Cramo Top Scorer-jersey for the home team, other noticeable players are #12 Jacob Berglund and #8 Eirik Skadsdammen, to name a few.

We want to give our fans a victory, and I want my team to show good and entertaining hockey in front our home crowd. We are facing a big challenge, but will to everything to try to start the season with a victory our a huge opponent as Sparta Prague.
Sparta Prague came 4th in the regular season of the Czech Extraliga, and lost in the semi-finals in the season, and is ready for revenge. In last years Champions Hockey League, they won their group, but lost to Linköping in the 1/8 final. Lukas Pech will wear their Cramo Top Scorer-jersey, other star players include goalie Thomas Pöpperle and aging star Jaroslav Hlinka.

We are looking very much forward to the game, I hear that there is a suppose to be a big crowd for a small city! We don’t know too much about Storhamar Hamar, but are expecting tough, physical ice hockey from the norwegian. We want to start the CHL with a win, as in a three-team-group, every game is important!
