Thank you for following this live report. My name is Efraim Larsson and I'll be back next Friday when Frölunda will face JYP Jyväskylä on home ice. (21:24:36)
Shots: 56-14 (9-6, 18-4, 29-4)
PIM: 8-26 (4-8, 4-4, 0-14)
When Steelers gets their fourth player back on the ice, SEBASTIAN STÅLBERG takes the chance to advance into the slot and gets the wrist shot through Plante.
Unassisted.
HENRIK TÖMMERNES is just smokin' hot this evening. His third of the game and some hats are getting thrown into the ice.
Assisted by Spencer Abbott & Ryan Lasch.
And the whole arena explodes in an applause. That was a really beautiful goal.
Oscar Fantenberg puts the puck on net from the blue line and JOHAN SUNDSTRÖM takes the rebound and extend the lead to 7 goals.
Assisted by: Oscar Fantenberg & Spencer Abbott.
Wow, what a beauty when ROBIN FIGREN puts the puck in the net after a beautiful passing setup by Artturi Lehkonen and Mattias Janmark.
Now they just keep on coming. Henrik Tömmernes takes a shot from the blue line and PATRIK CARLSSON tips it in.
Assisted by: Henrik Tömmernes & Andreas Johnson.
HENRIK TÖMMERNES gets his second of the night when he goes around the net and puts it in short side. A beautiful goal by Frölunda, and now they have a 4-goal lead.
Assisted by: Nicklas Lasu
ARTTURI LEHKONEN takes a rebound from a bad angle but puts the biscuit in the net and Frölunda now have a 3-goal lead.
Assisted by: Mattias Janmark, Jacob Larsson
Steelers did defend their slot in front of Plante rather solid, though, whereby Frölunda pretty much just played along the boards and blue line. Didn't get that many really hot scoring chances, but when they did Plante was there to save the Steelers.
Goals of the 2nd period:
2-0 (25:19) | Mats Rosseli Olsen (Unassisted) SH1
Shots: 17-4 (total: 25-10)
PIM: 4-4 (total: 8-12)
After a while Frölunda gets a really great opportunity, but Janmark can't beat Plante – who makes a really good save.
Steelers fail to setup the play on the left side and Frölunda creates a 2-on-1-turnover. MATS ROSSELI OLSEN tries to pass Nicklas Lasu, but instead the Steelers d-man directs it in the net. Unassisted. 2-0
The first period ended 1-0 to Frölunda.
1-0 (17.10) | Henrik Tömmernes (Spencer Abbott, Andreas Johnson) PP1
Shots: 8-6
PIM: 4-8
We'll be back around 19:50 (CET) with the 2nd period. Enjoy your coffee.
Finally, Frölunda manages to setup the PP and when HENRIK TÖMMERNES gets the puck on the blue line he can smash it in the net with a one-timer slapshot.
Assisted by: Spencer Abbott & Andreas Johnson.
Instead Steelers creates another two scoring chances, but again Johansson is solid.
Frölunda will have the 5 on 3 for 1.25.

The reason is rather funny – they ordered a jersey that were too small.
The Steelers is a club founded in 1991 in the central of England, and they have been a part of the Brittish hockey top since.
9 times, that's how many times the Steelers have won the playoffs of EIHL and last season they were not far away from increasing that number to 10, but the Coventry Blaze were too good in the Final series and denied Steelers to win their 2nd consecutive title.
Now they're here in the CHL to give Frölunda and JYP Jyväskylä a battle.
In the Swedish Hockey League they finished the regular season on 2nd place and took revenge on Luleå for the CHL Final loss by turning over a 1-3 deficit in games to 4-3 after three straight wins in the Quarter Final series. In the Semi Final, Växjö Lakers stood in the way and knocked out Frölunda in 6 games.
Now Frölunda are back for a CHL revenge and much is telling us that this is a team to count on yet again.
This year they will play their home games in Frölundaborg instead of their regular home ice arena, Scandinavium (12'044).
They played their quarter- and semi final games in "Borgen" last year due to the very big crowd standings in Scandinavium.
