    The Latvian fans sang the national anthem because of the technical difficulties, and then a moment of silence to honor Lokomotiv Yarolslav crash.

    We're live in Dom Sportova and just now Medvescak and Dinamo Riga skated onto the ice for the warm-up.
     
    It's sure to be a hard-fought match for every inch of the ice, so don't miss the game.
     
    Taking a look at Dinamo's roster shows they're getting serious about getting the results this year, but they will first have to battle against the Bears from Zagreb.
     
    Dinamo were very active during the summer, following a season to forget as early as possible. They finished last in the West with only 51 points from 52 games. Although they went on to win the Nadezhda Cup, the Latvian pride want to leave a mark in the league this season.

    Guntis Galvins, Martins Karsums, Jekabs Redlihs and Alexandre Giroux had to leave the team, but Sandis Ozolins was added as well as Marcel Hossa, Kyle Wilson, Martins Cipulis, Jakub Sedlacek and Marcel Hascak.
     
    Medvescak created their team with AHL players, and therefore the Russians called them their first North American team to play in the KHL. Jonathan Chechoo is probably the biggest name in the team and captain Alan Letang is spending his 5th season with the team, and the 5th as a captain.
     
    After a historic display, appeareance and result on Friday evening, beating CSKA with unbeliveable 7:1. But after that amazing win in front of their amazing fans, Medvescak will face their second opponent of the league. Dinamo Riga is known to be an uncomfortable team to play against and they're also known for similar atmosphere at Riga Arena as it was two days ago in Dom Sportova.
