Severstal takes another win as Medvescak see their losing streak continues to 5 games now. Medvescak didn't look good neither on offense or the defence and had somewhat slow transition. Severstal took their chances given today and recorded a big win in front of the home crowd. They took over the game with 3 goals in the 2nd period after Montador was ejected.

    60:00
    Game over.

    59:16
It seems not to matter for Severstal if they're shorthanded or not as they take two breakaways to the net, both times Brust saving the net.

    58:47
Alexander Shinin decides to take a shot himself in a 2-on-1 breakaway instead of passing to Pavel Dedunov to the other side that could have led to the goal, this way Brust saves with the chest.

    58:15
Evgeny Mons (SEV) receives a couple of hits as he tried to hit someone on the Medvescak side going for the bench and will therefore get a call for roughing. He hit Willsie leaving the ice.

    58:00
Two minutes to go in the third.

    57:36
    Goal for Severstal!
ALEXANDER BUMAGIN adds another one to put the end to the story as he intercepts Brust's pass through the middle and fires instantly.

    Unassisted.

    56:34
Matthieu Carle receives the puck on the blue on the right side and goes himself to the net outskating the defence, but the final shot is direct into the goalie, for an easy save.

    55:17
Buchnevich takes the puck to the zone deking out a defenceman in front and having a 2-on-2 breakaway, gets the feed to the other side for the oncoming forward, but Brust makes an amazing save to stop it from going in.

    54:16
    Goal for Severstal!
Severstal take immediate action on the powerplay as LINUS VIDELL picks up a rebounded puck at the left post and puts it across the line to, most probably, seal the deal.

    Assists: Bogdan Kiselevich, Petr Caslava.

    53:54
    Severstal take the timeout.

    53:54
Brian Willsie (MED) is called for interference and Severstal will have another powerplay.

    53:12
Klimenko takes a wristshot from the blue with lots of traffic in front but no one can deflect it into the net as Brust makes another save.

    52:41
Stepanek once again in place to save a one-timer after the feed is sent from the right to the circle on the opposite side, Charles Linglet on the shot.

    51:46
Brust skates off the net behind to break the attack for Severstal and manages to come back to save the shot coming from the right side.

    50:58
A hard one-timed slapper from the blueline on the left hits a defenceman in front, while later on Medvescak can't get a second shot from near the crease.

    50:11
A shot comes off the blueline by Medvescak, it's wide to the right.

    49:21
Big battles on the boards inside Severstal's end for every single puck possession, and Medvescak loses it in the end.
