Out of the blue the hosts restore their two-goal lead and are 3-1 in front now! Just after entering the Dinamo third EVGENY SKACHKOV tried it with a hard shot from within the slot that found its way into the top left corner past the stick hand of Lalande. The guest goalie didn't look too good in this situation!

GEOFF PLATT beats SKA goalie Ezhov with a back hander from the right circle that went into the left corner, just a little higher than Ezhovs pads! An avoidable goal leads to the 2-1.

The hosts double their lead! A shot from the left circle by VADIM SHIPACHYOV was blocked to the side by Lalande but then hit the chest of Geoff Platt and from there the puck went into the wide open net! A rather strange goal which is bitter for the guests who kept the game very open in the last minutes!
