It's only taken 21 seconds for Lev to score and take the victory! It's defenceman TOPI JAAKOLA with his second goal of the game. He shows great skill to roof a backhand into the top left corner to give Lev the two points.
It's been inevitable. Lev have sat back far too much and it's another scramble in front of Vehanen, and with the Finnish goalie on his back, Admiral have equalised. ENVER LISIN tucks the puck in at the back post.
You can't say it wasn't coming! Great work by Lev to keep the pressure firmly on Admiral, and it's MICHAL REPIK, receiving the pass from Michal Birner who fires in a wrist shot from the left hashmarks
Just seconds after fantastic play by Calle Ridderwall, bursting through the neutral zone but firing wide, the Swede keeps the puck in play, finding TOPI JAAKOLA gaining the zone, and the Finnish forward rips a hard shot past Lundstrom
It's far too easy for VLADIMIR PERVUSHIN, as the former Avangard Omsk forward out-battles Ryan O'Byrne for the puck, brings the puck from behind the net and fires a laser of a wristshot over Vehanen's left shoulder
Today is HC LEV's third game of their four-game Far Eastern road trip, and the Lions are looking to bounce back after dropping Sunday's game against Sibir Novosibirsk 5-3. With the defeat, the Lions slipped to sixth place in the Western Conference, although they do possess a game in hand over all their rivals. The big news for them today is that Niko Kapanen misses his second game in a row through injury.
It's been a mixed bag for Admiral to start their KHL career. The club currently sits just outside the playoff spots in the Eastern Conference, currently ranked tenth. However, after a long road-trip to start their season, the club have begun life at the Fetisov Arena positively, picking up victories in the last two games.
