		Team USA continued in the last 20 minutes where they had stopped in the middle period and added another three goals for a 9-0 win aganst underdogs Switzerland that was never in danger. For Molly Schaus this game means a shutout she didn't have to do much for. As expected the Americans made a huge step towards the quarterfinals. In fact they can reach it if Canada gains at least one point in the 16.00 CET match against Finland. For Switzerland the last group match on Wednesday against Finland will be very important. They need to show a far better perfomance there or they will also get into trouble against any team of group B in the quarterfinals! Shots on goal: USA 20 (53) – Switzerland 2 (10)

	43:00	It is not much happening currently. The Americans stay very active and try to give their forwards a bit confidence with goals.
	40:50	Goal for Team USA! Strange situation now in the arena! KENDALL COYNE scores the 7-0 with a wrap-around! The referees though hadn't seen immiditately that the puck had crosses the goal line completely and the game had continued and Amanda Kessel had also scored – after the video review the decision was no hat trick yet for Kessel! Bitter for Kessel as she was already announced once as the goal scorer in the first period but when she had scored the shot by Brianna Decker had already crossed the goal line. 		Switzerland was able to stabilize the defense in the middle period without creating any danger themselves. By only allowing one more goal in the last 20 minutes they can still hope to keep the result at single digits and maybe they get to score a goal themselves in the next period! Stay tuned! 	36:14	From short distance Kendall Coyne hits the bottom part of the left goal post after coming from the right circle for a wrap around! Schelling would have had no chance at all for a clearance!
	33:26	Goal for Team USA! The Lamoureux sisters make it half a dozen with a nice combination behind the Swiss net. First Jocelyn Lamoureux waited for her sister to stake into a better shooting position and then she gave her a fast pass which MONIQUE LAMOUREUX used for a well-placed shot from the right circle into the right corner. Florence Schelling in the Swiss net didn't look too well as she undererstimated the shot which went just past her glove hand! Assisted by Jocelyne Lamoureux.

	29:12	Laura Benz (Switzerland) gets two minutes for delaying the game after she didn't release the puck which she could in the air in time. So far the US team is 1 for 1 in power play.

	28:21	Brilliant pass from the left wing by Brianna Decker for Amanda Kessel but the forward isn't able to controll the puck waiting alone inside the slot.

	26:30	The second period starts similar to the first one with again better organized Swiss players but the Americans keep the pressure high and the next goal is only a question of time.

		Switzerland started well into the match but after the first goal against mid of the first period they simply broke in and allowed another two within just one minute and a total of five after 20 minutes. 		Team USA took a big hurdle on their way to the direct qualification for the 2014 Olympic Games semifinals when they beat group A rivals Finland (3-1) in a close game on Saturday. Today they could already make everything clear if they defeat underdogs Switzerland. The Swiss team set two new defensive records against top favourites Canada (0-5) during their first match as it was the lowest loss against them and the first time they kept the Canadians shutout during a complete perio. This was rather a result of the stellar 64 save performance by their goalie Florence Schelling though and not because of the work of the often helpless young Swiss team. Everything but a win in regulation for the American women would be a huge surprise! Let's see what Switzerland can offer them!
