After a shot by Lara Stalder from the right circle the puck came to Laura Benz who found JESSICA LUTZ waiitng alone at the left post and from there the Swiss forward had no trouble at all to score the 3-2 for Switzerland after Valentina Wallner had been out of position for a moment!!!

A pass by Lara Stalder from behind the net is caught by Alina Müller whose shot is blocked but the situation is still not cleared and PHOEBE STANZ scores with the rebound from just left to the net into the left corner! 2-2 in power play!

Sarah Forster's pass from the blue line is stopped by Lara Stalder at the left circle and from there she finds the completely free waiting SARA BENZ who from just in front of the goalie crease fires the puck into the right corner past the chanceless goalie Valentina Wallner! 1-2 and the Swiss women are back in the game!

Maria Lindh wins the puck inside the Swiss third, has no team mate around and skates into the neutral zone. There she finds ERICA UDEN JOHANSSON who barely crosses the blue line before she fires the puck into the right top corner – just past the glove hand of Florence Schelling who doesn't look good at all in this situation! 2-0 Sweden – what an important goal at the end of the period!

The Swedes had the momentum after having a power play and end a fast passing combiantion in front of the Swiss net for the deserved 1-0 lead! With a brilliant pass past the last defender Cecilia Ostberg found team mate MICHELLE LOWENHIELM who waited close to the right post and scored with a beautiful deflection into the right corner!
