Both coaches and players agree on a better start for Färjestad, Vienna Capitals probably showing too much respect. Matt Zaba keeping them in the game during that time. 5 minute power play changed the momentum and especially after the 2nd goal for Vienna, a rather tough game for Färjestad, not making enough progress to get back into the game as quickly as needed, also because of Zaba's continued superb goaltending. Tommy Samuelsson as a fair sportsman as always congratulating his former team and Tom Pokel to their win today. (22:48:59)

Special fact of the game is that the Swedish partner team is coached by Tommy Samuelsson, the former trainer of the Caps.
The Capitals won their first and only test game against Stavanger Oilers 3-2 after overtime and they are looking forward to match up with the nine-time Swedish champion.
