    Liberec with a well-deserved win here in Köln. The game started out with both teams on the offense trading big chances and getting a goal each in the first period. Vampolas second period shorthander stands as the game-winner and he scored another one on the powerplay. Bulirs 4-1 took the air out of Köln and Liberec relied on a very good defensive effort in the third period.
