Not the best game ever, but pretty close in the end.

Nice greetings from Vienna, enjoy the rest of the evening! (20:13:18)

Best players on the ice for sure both goalies. Congrats to Kickert and Soeberg for some brilliant goal keeping.

Close game in the end with the win for Vienna Capitals. Valerenga had to pay tribute to their small team tonight in the third period.

Vienna right now the leader in the group (Zurich and Färjestad still playing) with 6 points out of two games, Valerenga unlucky tonight and therefore still without any points after two games.

Puck drops at 5:45pm at Albert Schultz Eishalle in Vienna, and we are looking forward to another exciting CHL afternoon/evening in Vienna.

Vienna Capitals will aim to continue their performance of Game 1 last Thursday where they defeated Färjestad 4-1 with an impressive and efficient performance, based on suberb goaltending by Matt Zaba and 2 goals by Kris Foucault who will now carry the shirt of the team's top scorer. Capitals are expected to start with David Kickert, their young and very talented backup goalie.

After Valerenga's 1-4 loss in Zurich they will clearly look taking points back home from Vienna to stay in the race within the group. Players like Morten Ask and Alexander Bonaksen are know as one of the Norwegian top players, and with Filip Gunnarsson, even a former player for Vienna Capitals returns to Vienna.

Some hours to go before the second CHL game in Vienna starts.

This afternoon Vienna Capitals will host Valerenga Oslo.

The guest team is a big name in European hockey, finished as runner-up in the last Norwegian Championship, being known as a very consistently performing team, participating in all final series in Norway, but 7, since 1980.

    Welcome. Game starts at 17:45.
