ANTTI PIHLMAN tipped the puck in after Vainio's shot from the blue line. JYP still live! Assist: Juuso Vainio.
What a mistake by Pekka Tuokkola. JYP's goalie got the puck on his stick in the corner but insted of passing it on some teammate, he hit the goal construction, so ANDREW EBBETT got the puck and simply sent it inside. No assist.
Bern made a mistake in its defensive zone so MIKKO SALMIO got the puck after a pass from Niklas Friman and scored with a perfect shot. Assist: Niklas Friman.
JUHA-PEKKA HYTONEN gives a hope to his team. JYP's captain found himself in a scoring chance and finally after 19 unsuccessful shots sent it behind Genoni. Also finally a PP goal! Assists: Janne Tavi, Sami Niku.
RYAN LASCH was ready in front of the net without any defending so as he got the puck he just simply sent it to the other post, where Tuokkola had no pad. Assist: Simon Bodenmann.

"As we all know by now, Bern is a top end team and organization in Central European hockey. For us, this is a prime test of our ability, again, it's what competition is all about," explained JYP's Director of Hockey Operations Jukka Holtari. "For both teams, only challenging the best is what provides the greatest thrills in sports. We are in a good mood, and have a lot of anticipation for the game today."
"We've gout to put our own game into place," affirmed Bern assistant coach Ville Peltonen. "That's the first thing we have to do, get this into our minds and then prepare physically". Bern travelled up to Jyvaskyla yesterday, greeted by temperatures of minus-10 on arrival!
