Having surrendered a two-goal lead in less than five second period minutes in Bern last week, JYP skate out on home ice a goal behind to their NLA opponents.

"As we all know by now, Bern is a top end team and organization in Central European hockey. For us, this is a prime test of our ability, again, it's what competition is all about," explained JYP's Director of Hockey Operations Jukka Holtari. "For both teams, only challenging the best is what provides the greatest thrills in sports. We are in a good mood, and have a lot of anticipation for the game today."

"We've gout to put our own game into place," affirmed Bern assistant coach Ville Peltonen. "That's the first thing we have to do, get this into our minds and then prepare physically". Bern travelled up to Jyvaskyla yesterday, greeted by temperatures of minus-10 on arrival!

And as in the first PK, also this one is being killed quite successfully by JYP.

Niku with quite soft shot from the left. Genoni has another save.

Muller skated along the left boarding and was under pressure, so he only sent the puck on Tuokkola. It ended somewhere in equipment.

Arcobello's stick was blocked for a forehand shot, so he turn for a backhander and surprised Tuokkola from there. But the puck went slightly wide.

Now JYP with high forechecking. Kalteva's shot from the blue line went also wide.

Two on two situation in front of Tuokkola was solved by Sami Niku, who blocked the puck high of the net.

Martin Pluss was quite aggresive during the faceoff, so he must be replaced with one of his teammates.

Good play by Bern in neutral zone. JYP struggles in this zone since the start of the game.

Blum blaster from the blue line went wide.

Rooba tried it from the left side, but the puck went out of the play after couple of deflections.

Although JYP has also 5 shots on the net like Bern, Finnish shots didn't seem that dangerous.

Almost no defending in the neutrral zone by JYP. Bern makes it front of Tuokkola really easily.

Pulli sent the puck in the traffic in front of Genoni, but no one from his teammates didn't find the puck there so it went wide.

Moser with a one-timer from right, but his shot went wide.

And now from the right side, but Tuokkola stays solid.

The puck is cleared by JYP from the zone.

But Bern is quickly back in front of Tuokkola.

JYP killed successfully also this PK.

Home team is trying to finish this period with a puck on sticks and it will probably really happen.

First chance on PP for JYP. Rufenacht gets two minutes for slashing.

Kalteva's pass went way too far so it's an icing.

Cross ice pass to Nattinen was quite inaccurate so JYP's CTS didn't reach the puck.

JYP was struggling little bit on the blue line which caused an offside.

JYP plays definitely better than in the first period. But still no goals are coming.

It's really up and down game so far in the second period. But Bern still without any shot.

Now Bodenmann with a fantastic scoring chance. But even this action didn't bring any goal.

JYP is defending well in the middle zone, so Bern is trying to make it in front of Tuokkola with long but inaccurate passes.

Arcobello sent the puck right in the middle of Tuokkola's net, so it was quite obvious, that it won't be anything else than another save.

Genoni was quite lucky now, as he didn't see the shot. But it was blocked somewhere in front of him.

JYP has bigger puck possession, but still no serious chances are coming.

Bern has only two shot so far in this period.

Suomela with a shot over the left Genoni's pad. But goalie's glove was ready. But it was a good chance anyway.

Bern cleared the puck from the zone, JYP has to start from Tuokkola again.

And Bern is playing very well in this PK. JYp has had only one shot.

PP is over. Bodenmann is on ice.

Niku was so close. He was alone in front of Genoni, but his rebound went wide of the net.

Quite calm moments of the game.

Randegger was sent on the boardings but everything was clear. He will have only couple of bruises tomorrow.

Good looking chance for JYP. But that was it.

Huge scramble in front of Genoni. He covered the puck on the ice, but Nattinen probably saw it and tried to get it in the net which caused a fear of Swiss players.

JYP had been in ofensive zone but lost it quite quikly.

JYP still with the rest of the PP from the second period.

But it's already over and Bern is in front of Tuokkola.

Three-goal difference will be a really tough hill to climb.

The second goal has caused a really huge demage in JYP's mind. They look quite shocked and broke.

And now a huge one-timer from left, but Genoni stays solid.

And it's Bern now who struggles on the ice. It's impressive, how quickly sportsmen's mind can change.

JYP is quite close now. But it's said that the last step is always the hardest one.

Lasch was in a good position in front of Tuokkola, but in the last moment he lost the puck.

Bodenmann aimed to the left upper corner, but only hits the boarding behind the net.
