		This will be second match in Champions Hockey League for both clubs. Their opening matches ended in different way. Vítkovice celebrated big victory 5:1 over German team ERC Ingolstadt. This was historically first match of this competition and team from Ostrava gave the home fans reason to celebrate. After two periods Vítkovice led by one goal, but three goals in third period were too much for Panthers from Ingolstadt. Home team wants to emulate this performance against another tough opponent. But they will miss the best player from Thursday match Patrik Zdráhal. Young forward, who scored two goals and added one assist has a shoulder injury. But desire to win isnt’t changed. Vítkovice wants to start season with two home wins from two matches. Swiss team EV Zug lost fist match on home ice against SaiPa Lappeenranta 1:2 and wants to prove they are capable of a better performance. Their only goal came in powerplay, but first SaiPa goal was also scored in one man advantage. Second one came a few seconds after another penalty. Special formations have to be more effective. Zug also has to overcome a long journey from Zug to Ostrava, which is almost one thousand kilometres long. But desire to get better may play some part in this outcome.
