For Davos I guess you could cal it efficient! 19 shots, 3 of them converted and to be honest, they never looked like panicking. They did seem to be a little sloppy with their passing at times, and will be thankful for their goalie's standout shift, but at the end of the day, they got the hard work done early in the away leg and Liberec could never find a way to get back level.
Goodnight from Davos. (22:41:52)
DAVOS 19 (8,7,4)
LIBEREC 47 (16,15,16)
FINAL SCORE
HC DAVOS 4 (9) – BILI TYGRI LIBEREC 3 (6)
DINO WIESER into the empty net, this one is almost certainly over now! Shorthanded once again!
Liberec are going for this hard, they've removed the goalie with 5 minutes left to play, I like it!
#18 Gregory Sciaroni – 2 minutes for hooking.
Sciaroni implying that the Liberec player went down a little too easy.
#71 Jaroslav Valsky – 2 minutes for hooking.
Powerplay Davos.
Tonight's winner will play the strong Swedish outfit in the 1/4 finals.
You can't deny their effort tonight, out-shooting the hosts by a massive 16 shots over 2 periods!

In 19 league games so far, they've been on the powerplay 69 times, but have only netted 10 times with a miserable 14.49 PP% rate. On the bright side, they've only conceded one shorthanded goal.
In stark contrast to their struggling powerplay, Davos lead the league in both penalty killing and in shorthanded goals. The have managed to net 5 times while being a man down, and have a solid PK% of 85.37 despite conceding the most Powerplays so far this season.
HC Davos currently sit tied for 3rd in the Swiss National league A, have been pretty free scoring leading the way in goals, and come into the match on the back of 5 straight wins (inlcuding the first leg of this tie)
The first period will be huge. If the Tigers can score early then it's game on, whereas if Davos notch up one or two in the first 20 minutes, then surely they'll be advancing to the 1/4 finals to face the winner of the Skellefteå AIK – Eisbären Berlin series – The Swedes host Berlin with a 3 goal lead, and are strong favourites to progress. That game faces off 45 minutes before we start up here in Davos, so we'll keep you posted on the outcome there as the evening progresses.
