		Liberec made it to the best 16 phase by eliminating Färjestads BK. They won 4:1 at home and even after losing 0:2, it was still enough for the Tigers to proceed to the next phase. Vitkovice made their path to the eight-finals look much easier. They beat Nitra 7:0 and 5:0 and secured their place among best 16 teams of Champions Hockey League. Who will prevail in the eight-finals?
		Liberec has already faced Vitkovice in Czech extraliga in a game that was won by the Tigers 3:1. The match is also interesting because of another fact. Jan Vytisk was Liberec's captain during last season which the Tigers finished by winning the championship for the first time in the club history. But at the moment, Vytisk is playing for Vitkovice.
		In another Champions Hockey League 1/8finals reigning Czech champions from Liberec will face Vitkovice. One thing is clear – we are going to see a Czech team in the quarter-finals. But which one of these will it be?
